My wireless connection icon is not in my toolbar. My internet connection works normally. I'm just asking just in case this may become a problem in the future. Maybe there is something I can do make it appear again.
Wireless Connection icon not visible
If you are using WinXP, then open network connections, and right-click on your wireless connection, and click on properties. There should be a checkbox that says "show icon when connected" (or something very similar) and that should do it.
Ya. That seems to already be checked off. The icon isn't there even though the show icon is checked off.
Make sure it's not disabled.
-Open up network connections
-Right-click the wireless link
If the first option on the pop-up menu is 'enable' then click that, otherwise, try clicking the third option, repair.
Also, try disabling the wired connection while troubleshooting the wireless. XP can only use one at a time.
