Hi. I was wondering if there a program that can open/edit a file that has files within the file. Maybe showing folders that are within the file and files in the folders of only that one file. Example:
File: "Data"
Folders:
Variables- (files about variables)
Data- (files about data)
Other Stuff- (other files)
~Thanks
Don't quite understand the question!
Could you explain a little more?
Files with inner data. Lets say this "File" can represent a "Folder" on your computer with files in it. I am looking for a program that can open up one of these files to view the data just as in a "Folder."
That's the concept of disk images and tar archives. Most archives can be used to store files without compression should you have a decent utility. What format is it? I cannot give you a proper reccomendation for a program(especially if its a disk image) to open and manage such things.
.PAK files are like .zip files I belive.
Try Gooling for a prog name Packscape or pak browser.
Not sure if it's what you want though!

| A .PAK file acts like a .ZIP archive, it contains many different files within the archive, and can be accessed via the game it is associated with. Files within the archive are often read only. Note: .PAK files are used with many different Quake Engine games. |
PAKScape and PAKExplorer
