A record of domain

Hello everyone,

I registered a domain name recently. While I was browsing and searching for domain name configuration, some sites say that they need A reocrd of the domain name to be configured. Can any one tell how this can be done. The control panel of my domain registerar shoys the name servers do direct the domain to but not the A record.

To edit the A-Record, you need to change the domain's DNS settings, not just the nameservers. Some domain registrars charge you extra to use their DNS services. You can always use an external DNS provider such as EveryDNS which is free to use.
