The boy was unconscious when park lifeguards pulled him from a two-foot-deep section of the Great Barrier Reef, according to Bill Lentz, Great America's general manager. A woman who collapsed and fell into a shallow pool at the Holiday World and Splashin’ Safari theme park died of heart failure. Lifeguards pulled the 29-year-old Fort Wayne woman from the water about 11 a.m. on July 4, according to a published police report. Skyscraper Climb at Legoland California

A Legoland employee suffered a broken ankle, wrist and fractured back after falling from the 25-foot-tall rock climbing tower in Fun Town. It is not clear if the employee was not wearing a safety harness, or if it was not properly worn. No visitors were on the wall at the time of the incident. CNN) -- A girl's feet were cut off Thursday when a free-fall thrill ride malfunctioned at the Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom Amusement Park in Louisville, Kentucky, police said.A cord wrapped around the 16-year-old's feet and severed them at her ankles while she was on the "Superman Tower of Power," a police dispatcher said. Passengers drop 154 feet at 54 mph, stopping "just 20 terrifying feet above the pavement," it adds."I seen the car go up. Then, like, the cable broke, I heard -- pwchh -- and I heard a lot of people screaming," Chris Stinnett, who was at a ride next to the Superman Tower of Power, told WDRB/WMYO. Seven Carowinds employees were injured on a test run of the roller coaster Saturday evening when a seat position failure triggered an emergency stop. Seat locking mechanism disengaged due to ride operator input on the control panel, which allowed the seats in the car to jostle and the waistbar to unlock. The ride computer recognized the fault and engaged the emergency brake at the base of a loop. The control panel has been altered so as to not allow a seat lock disengage while the ride is in motion. A 38-year-old housewife died from a broken neck on Magic Battle, a spinner ride. The woman was attempting to exit the ride, when the ride operator started it. She fell to the ground and was struck in the head by one of the spinning barrel ride units. She allegedly grabbed the side of the flume as her boat dropped away from her, down the ramp. She then slid down the flume ramp where she was hit by at least one other boat. A 10-year-old girl from Arlington Heights, Ill. who had a history of heart trouble collapsed shortly after riding this kiddie roller coaster. A 17-year-old rider suffered a broken leg after riding Alpengeight, at about 5:20 p.m. this evening. James City County fire officials reported that the boy, whose name has not yet been released, fractured his femur in two places. According to park officials, the victim suffered from a pre-existing medical condition that may have contributed to the injury. The dolphin's teeth did not break the skin, and the boy's mother freed the boy by beating on the dolphin's nose.
