The sitemap contains info about updates. You can use http://www.xml-sitemaps.com/. You'll see some options to tell Google about thechange frequency and when your site was last updated. When you update your site you can also update your sitemap. This way Google will know you've updated it. You could also use the resubmit button to accelerate the process with a few minutes/hours.

i think there is no need to do this. What i know about google is that jst submit your site once in google, even in some cases there is no need to submit site, and google will do the rest of work for you.

GOogle will automatically update your site periodically.
1 more thing is that when someone searches a keyword that is contained in your site, google doesnt goto your site and look for the keywords, it just searches its detabase sites, this is the reason you will see some sites in google rearch results that doesnt exist.

was it helpful!!!

First make a sitemaps of your site, many ways .
Then go here http://www.google.com/webmasters/.
You should have a google account to login.
Submit your sitemaps there,Google will know updates of your site daily or weekly.

Actually I have a site http://www.indiainfoweb.com , and it contains about 5000 pages. So whenever I generate the sitemaps, the whole pages doesnt get indexed, and as a result I am forced to generate the sitemap, manually. Any suggestions to fix this problem.........
