Recently as many of you will no there have been three aircrafts crash in the last month. The first one in canada involving a airbus over shooting the runway
The second of scilly which killed 13 people. Its reconned that the fuel gauge was tampered with. The second time a plane has crashed in the sea due to fuel problems in the last year.
And the third to day in athens due to loss of cabin pressure.
I find this very strange as all the planes that crashed have very good saftey records and the fact they all went down this month is very strange. The latest crash there are reports of possible sabotage which brings to mind the words terroism which brings us to the war in iraq which leads to bin laden which takes us back to terrorism. I am British so i have felt the effects of the london bombings even though i live in the north of scotland. Thankfully they wernt as deadly as the 9/11 disasters but they still brought the capital to a halt.
What i want to know is that do people think from now on is every disaster going to be suspected as terroism because im my opion if it is the terrorists have succedded in their mission.
These aircraft accidents were not terrorism, of course not.
Terrorist are not crazy, they are just using dirty means to attack their enimies because they can't attack with regular means like US, they have no reason to kill Greeks or any country that is not at war with any muslin nation.
terrorism is spawned from resenments.

if you read newspapers etc and FAA Reports you will find the 737 aicraft that was involved in the Athens tragedy doesnt have an overly impressive safety record:
Snippet from the UK Newspaper the Daily Mirror:
"Including yesterdays disaster, there have been at least seven major 737 crashes over the last 5 years killing more than 750"
the Air crash investigators are now looking into possibilities of human error by the flight crew as if there was even a minor decompression in the cabin alarms would go off in the cockpit and the piltos could react.
i personaly think that due to an air conditioning faliure which the pilots did explain to ATC that poisoned air was circulating in the cabin as it was no longer getting filter by the air conditioning which would explain why the pilots and copilot passed out
I heard that there are chinese in the disaster.
Very sad to get the information of it.
Wish all the people safe and happy every day in 365 days a year
Ya I heard about that I heard everyone on the plane died but I didn't even hear why they hit into the mountain It must have been something in the plane that cut off all the oxygen.
Everyone died while ON the plane.
Geez, the airline was Helios airlines right?
[edit] i think i found a bbcode bug

st have been something in the plane that cut off all the oxygen. |
yes everyone did die but they all died before it hit the ground because they were flying at 35,000ft the air is at -50c so when the aircraft depressurized the cold air set in and its believed everyybody froze to death.
then after it flew for about 2 hours uncontrolled the engines failed to to the fuel running out send ing the aircraft into a downward spiral ito the hills
really sad and a horrible way to go just hope all the people were gone before the plunge
i have been on a 737 on only a small flight more newcastle UK to gatwick UK when as we were pushing back from the gate the had a problem securing one of the doors so we moved back to the stand as they sorted the problem but eventually got away about 10 mins later.
it just go's to show that 40+ years of service is starting to take a toll on these aircraft they are one of the best aircraft built but as with everything weaer & tear takes place.
feel very sad to heard these unfortunate news, but we havn't way to avoid it.
sine the Helioos disaster there have now been anouther 3 crasheslocation not to sure but 1 an amercian war plane had to land with 1 engine and no gear outcome: all survived
2) MD-83 total engine faliure crashes killing all on board into huge hlly foreested area
3) spanish military transport plane crashes killing 16 spanish soldiers
Hey all!
I was watching the medias... and... again.... guess what !
Another airplain crashes !!
So weird... how it can happen so much.. normally, the airplanes should be the less dangerous transport and it happened to be the most dangerous... really not normal... why the inspectors didn't do their jobs ? what is the problem of that?
Is not hard, I guess.... just do their jobs and be sure that there no problems with the air plane... they should look it 2 times!
And... immagine the peoples that are gonna take the airplane next time... they will always have in mind... WE CAN CRASH!
Well, I wish really not ! But... i guess we should take more time for the security of the peoples that are in airplanes!
Ciao
Tommy.
