I watched one of the 4th test yesterday while on the treadmill and boy was I gobsmacked at just how poor this team has become.
They fielded look schoolgirls (no actually, that's an insult to schoolgirls) it was almost comic to watch the ball just go through players hands as they gathered the ball - appalling throws to the stumps where no one was present to back up - they really looked like a croquet team that got bussed to the wrong ground.
Then at 6 for about 270 the new ball was taken. Time was then the batting team were 6 down and WI took the new ball, the groundsman would start firing up the pitch roller because he knew it would be needed for the innings change in about 5 minutes (10 if they were having a bad day) but not any more. New ball brought with it a flurry of 4's and 6's.
Not trying to take anything away from England who recovered really well nad esp the performance of Collingwood, Prior and Sidebottom but really, still can't believe how bad WI are.
Now Eng have an outside chance of actually WINNING (at hte time of this post anyay) what was a certain draw this time yesterday - what a funny old game.
