email attachement problems

Everytime some one sends me an email with big attachement and I try to open it I recieve this message:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 16777216 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 6245427 bytes) in /var/www/html/webmail/inc/class.uebimiau.php on line 86

In this case the file have 3 MB

How can I resolve this issue?

this is my second post in this section that nobody answers me... Confused

My suggestion is to either:

1. Tell people to stop sending you such large attachments
2. Get a new e-mail provider that accepts the large attachments

Other than that, this is beyond my knowledge. Sorry, if I couldn't help.

Have you tried getting your email through a client application such as thunderbird or outlook? It either a server mail thing or just uebi mail which the error seems to suggest.

Yes, the byte size specified, by the class file (allowed attachment size) is 1.5 MB whereas your attachment is 3 MB. Increase the allowed attachment size to more than 3 MB
