Your banner ... doesn't suck but it could be more moving, more attractive.
Why not making a flash animation ... kinda waving background or this kinds things you know.
Your colors fit the hebrew flag, david star, and so, I can understand that you may not want to change the colors. Also try more effects like a d้grad้ on the title.

U know the banner is very nice and simple, i like simplicity, but not only is the "censored" text disinteresting, but the watermark could be darkened a little, and i agree with the person in the last couple of posts, you could make it all flashy, as in not use Macromedia Flash, but make an animated GIF file out of it!!!
with the animation, it makes it more outstanding that normal
I agree, animations make it outstanding, meaning a unique animation style can catch the eye of a Guest/Member, and each member can remember what style of animation has been entered to visually filter HIS/HER posts from the rest!

i like the color combination you have used, the sliding text is nice and clear.. it doesnt fall down like some ppl do.. and last but not least..
i think the text shine is a nice detail.. and not overdone..

awesome banner...i like the shadows put on the text, gives it a great effect. I just learned how to do that in my graphics class lol, but I havent really noticed it in any images until now. Good Work
