Put the perl-script in your /cig-bin directory, give them executable permissions and add this line on top:

Code:

#!/bin/perl

-- EDIT -- (05/16/2008)

On frihost perl is located in /usr/bin:

Use this:

Code:

#!/usr/bin/perl

You can use DirectAdmin to change the file permissions of your files (see http://www.site-helper.com/filemanager.html#permissions). Set their permissions to 755, so they can be read and executed by the webserver.

Now you can call the script from your browser. For example, if your script is named hello.cgi you type

http://www.islamhope.co.nr/cgi-bin/hello.cgi

in your browser. If everything is oke, the cgi script should work.

Also look for a README and/or INSTALL file, or a docs folder in the script's package. Most packages have them, and many times are written with the novice in mind. Start with simple scripts, and each one you install you gain familiarity with the general process and get better.
