edit: tried french roast. It should be getting my mind in an active state. Meaning i should be awake for a couple of hours

I was watching mythbusters and it showed how a binaural beat can alter your state of consciousness... it showed the EEG machine's readings and it made a huge difference so I was bored and looked for it on the internet and found it on some forum and downloaded it.

i think it can work but i am still not sure. I am surely going to try out something like marijuana or hash. I hope it works really good.

I have done a few more... the ones that it's not working for... try better headphones or earbuds.... the sounds are REALLY low you'll need some that can handle it and will sound right.

I've heard something about this, but never tried it. I do wonder how much is placebo and how much (if any) is a real effect from the sound waves. Who knows either way, but thanks for the link/info anyway.
I'm trying it, but I'm not sure if it's working right... the sample track I listened to on thier website had music, but the doses just sound like an annoying buzz and some white noise....
I tried once, but it's not sooo good. I didn't feel anything different. :/

I tried this to no avail. I am not sure it actually works and isn't just psychosomatic. I showed it to a friend without telling him what it was supposed to do and he reported no change while when I showed it to another friend and told him he was supposed to get sleepier he did. The next test will be to play the focuser and then tell the person he is supposed to chill out and see what happens.I got a new headphone so I thought I'd try it again (marijuana). I should be high now 
Don't think it worked. Last thing I'll try is to go to a local audio shop, take the laptop with me and try the best headphone they can let me try out. I think i'll try that later this week or next week. Right now, the site seems to be down. I spoke to Helios online, and he says that he's noticed the site being down a lot lately... possibly, they coud be upgrading or something. I'll check it out later. I've never taken any sort of drugs, so let's just see how this is supposed to help.
I tried Content, Beta and French Roast - all three worked for me.
The key is to focus on the beats, and have some quality headphones.
Also, speakers won't do the job. The waves need the be synchronized through the ear tunnel with the brain waves. In this case air is just huge resistance and source of "noise".
I tried a few, and they seemed to work.
I'm using earphones that sit around your head, like This.
I think I found the source of their 'offline problem'
