Does anyone know of any simple tutorials for Blender free 3d modeling program? I recently got it and i am having trouble using it. Any help would be nice. Thanks!

Hm, well, Blender is a pretty complex program, so there aren't any really simple tutorials for it. However, I think the best guide for learning how to use Blender is Blender:Noob to Pro. It starts you out with the basics, then moves you up to the more complicated stuff.
The easiest way to learn how to use the blender interface is from these blender tutorials: http://www.blender.org/tutorials-help/video-tutorials/ and overall learning from the noob to pro book
Okay, thanks i am using those. They are working great. But also what i meant by simple was tutorials that acted like the leanrer has never used a 3d modelling program before. I have use done before but not in a long time. Does anyone know and good tutorials for any level outside of those other two tutorials?
Thanks,

Are you a member of the blenderartists.org forums? You can learn a lot there by asking if you have any really specific questions or by searching the forum to see if anyone else has asked that question. I've been using blender for over a year now so I am pretty good at the interface and everything now but since I mostly use the game engine I don't know much about the newer more advanced features of blender. I am Magicman on those forums as well so you can PM me if you think I can help any.
http://www.pixel2life.com/tutorials/blender_3d/ Pixel2life.com has plenty of good tutorials, I'm not so sure of how good the blender tutorials are because i've never used it, nor have i looked in the section... but I do know they have alot of nice tutorials for different programs such as 3Dstudio max, Bryce, Cinema4d, photoshop, gimp, etc... good luck
I can't really recommend one tutorial over another except for that the PDF that comes with Blender (the quickstart one) is a very good resource. From my own experience learning Blender, I can tell you that keyboard shortcuts will save your life. Looking for everything in Blender's menus can be both tedious and maddening. I can also vouch for experimentation (just randomly click on things to see what can happen.) and trial and error. Downloading other peoples' blender files and seeing how they are made can also really help. I hope something I've said can help you out and good luck.
Thanks for the information given. This is of great use to me
Thanks for the information. this was really very nice tutorial and was must for me. i was searching for it so long.

You should really check this out. I recommend it A LOT! It really is Noob to Pro. It's not just a name. you start Noob, come out Pro after reading it.
There's also a Blender WikiBook with external links to tutorials, as well as the tutorials accessible directly on blender.org. I think between all of those, you should find enough information to get you through. If you have a specific question -- such as how to use multiple materials on a single object! --I'm sure we could help, or you could search a blender forum.
I'm a self-taught still-learning blenderer, so I know it's possible to teach yourself using those materials!
blender tuts on their official sites are the best. i remember i tried to learn it, it wasnt easy to learn, i started to learn 3d max. it is much easier for me and way more of my program....good luck with blender.
