This has to do with a shop; I don't think it was in the things not to suggest topic because it only specified that no suggestion should be made about a shop dealing with space/bandwidth.
There could be a shop (maybe based on Zarath's mod) that will sell icons or items that could be traded in the MarketPlace or for a prize in a contest. The items could include various colored tickets, trophies, ect. that can be either assigned to a user or bought by a user for frih$. The items could have some other value as in they could be turned in for a contest made by a staff member. The trophies would be good for contests as in someone buys a box of trophies and puts their own description on them and can give them out as prizes for one of the contests.
There could also be little signs that could be bought for a users enjoyment. Such as user templates on Wikipedia. There could be an image and when it is clicked on, there could be a description something like this:
Image: A Crossed Out Gun
Description: This user is against guns.
Normally, the description would be somewhat funny (check Uncyclopedia User Templates), but the images would not be pornographic, shocking, ect. All templates should be sold at a fixed price (100, 200, 300 frih$)
Users can pay a fee of 25 frih$ to make one and send it to a specific staff member to approve or unapprove. If it is approved, it will be sent to the shop and be sold. The user would gain 1-5% of each sale.
Some items can be given out by staff and not be shown in stores because of the ADMIN_ONLY feature with the shop mod. These should be given out for contributers and members of the month, ect.
Trophies shouldn't have the ability to be given away. Tickets should, or they can be sold to other members. Items that are given out by staff members that are not sold in stores will increase their values. Which means most of them should not be able to be traded or auctioned of.
Some of these suggestions also suggest the auction mod, so people can bid frih$ for them.
There can also be the lottery, which can give out items as well.
I will build on to this article. Please comment and vote to make it better.
