Hi this is Uwe,
On my laptop, I sometimes like to listen to music over headphones.
My problem is, I broke my headphone jack -- the connector for one of the stereo channels just popped right out.
Now, if I put my headphone plug in to listen, I only get sound from one channel.
The laptop is still useful, but to replace the part would be prohibitively expensive, and to repair it would be beyond my technical expertise.
What I want to do is just mono-ize the output from my soundcard, so essentially both the left and right signal come out of both the left and right channel, which would allow me to get mono audio through a mono headphone.
I've tried to find a way to do this in Windows, I think there might be a way, but I can't figure it out.
Is there a super genius with a practicable solution to my problem?
Thanks in advance for your consideration,
Love,
Uwe
