how to change from number to domain name?

i am setting my pc as a private server and the address is a number e.g. http://210.45.321 how do i change it into a letter so i can easily memorice my address?

can anybody help me with this kind of problem?

You need to have a DNS entry for your server's IP address. You can host your own DNS or you can use a service like www.homeip.net to create a DNS entry.

Probably your best bet is to get a hosting company to host your site (like FriHost Smile

) - or alternatively use a service like the one crdowner suggested.

If you have a single host your best option is to use a service like www.dyndns.com. DynDNS has a free service which I have been using for over a year with no issues. All you have to do is create an account (register) and then provide a server name and IP address.
