With rich instrument, bollywood music is very nice.
Especially I like trio music director : Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy.
Like Kal Ho Na Hoo, Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna, Salam-e-Ishq.
Any comment about bollywood (india) music?
Here in Brasil, the music "Kaaluri Vaanil" from the movie Pennin Manathai Thottu was kinda an internet success. I just love this music's rhythm. I don't know much about Bollywood movies and music, and I would love if you could point me another good musics to listen and know more your beautiful country. 
It plays on channel 11 on saturdays and sunday mornings, it's pretty fun to watch, some of the songs aren't so bad.
there are sites like raaga.com where you could listen to all indian movie and pop songs. But you have to search carefully maybe by artist or singer to find music you would like. I would recommend listening to AR Rahman songs though starting with Roja.
If you have it played too much, you will be fed up with this.

also hum tum.. my personal favourite.. and also Say Shava Shava..

Dil Se is one of my fav.
Try to take a look on "Dhoom:2" soundtrack. Lots of hits. hehehe I like rahman and shankar, ehsaan & loy... they give very different music. music of swades, lagaan, kal ho naa ho and dil chahta hai is excellent...
Anu Malik's music is also not so boring........
I loved all songs from "Lagaan" movie.
OK, Ravi Shankar doesn't count.
Anu Malik doesnt seems to be producing magic these days........

thats tollywood.. or kollywood.. definately not bollywood.I am not a big fan of hindi music but I dont mind listening to A.R Rehman stuff. I think the trends are changing in hindi music and its making it better. I think the new age bands like Band Metro etc are quite okay. I also dont mind listening to fusion music bands like Indian Ocean.
