server side includes SSI + stats

loyal
peace be upon you all.

How come server side includes don't work? I've tried everything from php, to shtml, to simply including txt files.

i'm on directadmin/server 2 , and the page where i'm trying to put an SSI on is www.islamhope.net/articles/concept-of-worship.html It's under the yellow news box.

Any ideas why it's not working?

This problem is now fixed: Ever since i bought my .net domain, and attached it to my account, my stats have stopped working. I get this message with webalizer stats:

You must wait for the stats to be computed. This will only happen *after* logs exist (domain must resolve and be used).

Info for Admins: Downloading a new webalizer binary http://help.directadmin.com/item.php?id=63

And when i go in "stats control" to click on my awstats link under the options,...instead of links, i see this:
Warning: file(/usr/local/directadmin/data/users/loyal/httpd.conf): failed to open stream: Permission denied in /usr/local/directadmin/plugins/Stats_Control/user/index.html on line 32

I thought the page needed a .shtml extension to use SSI?

Don't know about the stats sorry Sad

Normally it should be working with a .shtml extension.
loyal

i've changed the code to .shtml if you wanna check.

note: fixed problem 2...my stats work again!

may God bless you.

The page where you include the file needs the .shtml extension.
eg. - http://www.islamhope.net/articles/concept-of-worship.shtml should work.
loyal
what extension must the include file be?

UPDATE: Fixed. thanks all for your help!

may God bless you all
