Doc Sloane from Diagnosis Murder
Quincy from Quincy MD
Fletcher from Murder She Wrote
Colombo from Colombo (sp?)
Rockford from the Rockford Files

God I know there are a load more I'm missing

The really cheesy Detective shows that make you cringe but are compulsive viewing Smile

Am I the only person that watches them still?

My favourite has to be Diagnosis Murder. Dick Van Dyke is a funny, funny man. It's so OTT and cheesy you can't fail to like it Razz

Mine is definately, Jessica Fletcher from Murder She Wrote. That show is a pure classic and Angela Lansbury plays that part so well.
