Hex 2 Hex Gradient

Don't know what forum to put this in so here goes.

Is there any sites/scripts what I can use to do the following.

Hex 1
Hex 2
Steps

So it gets the hex 1 and hex 2 and gets the shades in between in the amount of steps specified.

Please post any sites or scripts that can do this thanks.

doubt that there is, try use an image instead, would be alot easier..

Its for a javascript div fader

oh, I'm not that good with javascript so can't say if it exists or not, tried google for it?

These other people give up too easily ... if you can use PHP, I have posted another thread here in the "PHP and MySQL" subforum. You can check it out here: PHP code for gradients.... (HEX) Color1, Color2, steps. Now, you may not be able to use this if your web host does not support PHP; in that case, the code could be modified to be entirely done with JavaScript.

If you are just after a hex value for a particular color, or are looking at colours that go well together, you could try the HTML Font Colorizer from Peter Thiell. It's a very basic program, but gets the job done.
