Very pitty that your picture is too small to see all the small elements, but overall not bad for the first work.
It was designed to be used as an avatar. That is why its so small.
Oh! I see Anway, just one little point for you: after finishing work with layers cutting and modifying merge all of them and play with hue/saturation or color balance scale. Give the picture one common color balance.
