What is a guitar that sounds GREAT.... and has a floyd rose.
for around 400 dollars.
I play a lot of van halen... a lot of ozzy and I even play stuff in drop C..
so... I would need a guitar that will be able to provide tone for all of this.
what is one I should get?
400 is my budget.

If your going to be de-tuning and re-tuning your guitar alot, I wouldnt get anything with a floyd rose. Just too much work stringing and tuning them that way. Half the people I know with floyd roses have gotten sick of it and jammed bits of wood and stuff like that under them just so they can de-tune their guitars without having to spend half an hour pissing round with allen keys and loosening each one a little bit at a time.

good thinking Andrew426...
I might use the guitar I have now for detuning...
and that one for a flat tuning.
if I was rich I would have a guitar for each tuning lol.

Well - you should try some different guitars and see whats best for you.

It's not a very good idea to buy a guitar over the internet without trying it.
