Tell me your favorite intros/outros to songs people, here are mine:

Smashing Pumpkins - Mayonnaise
Muse - Map of the Problematique

Outros:
Weezer - Only in Dreams
Smashing Pumpkins - For Martha
Sigur Rós - E-Bow (also known as Untitled 6)
Red Hot Chili Peppers - Sir Psycho Sexy
I actually really hate this song..for the first 5-6mins, but the outro is amazing, similar to Under the Bridge for those who haven't heard it. I've actually cut this song so I don't have to listen to the first part.

hm, one of my fav outros is on you're driving me crazy by Status Quo - simply since they have an execellt titeness in the instruments...

One of my fav intros is from the halloween album better than raw... They have a lot of great intro from the earlyyears but this one is also great.

Intros:

Like a Rolling Stone - Bob Dylan
--When that snare cracks to begin the song, it's like the switch to another world. Great song.

Storm - Godspeed You! Black Emperor
--The first five minutes of this 22 minute ballad are glorious - a call to arms against a cynical and corrupt world.

Outros:

Optimistic - Radiohead
--Just a fun, groove-driven, and unexpected finish to a good song.

Hoppipola - Sigur Ros
--The entire back half of this song is mind blowing. Every time I listen to this song, I feel this uplifting and weightless feeling. It's an awesome trip.
The Mitchell
the outro to battles - atlass its amazing looped noise Very Happy

Outros:

Acceptance - So Contagious

It's simple, but sounds great and sets up the mood for the rest of the song perfectly. And I love the droning-ness of it.

My favourite intro of all time is Godspeed You Black Emperor's The Dead Flag Blues...

The narrator's delivery is brilliant and when it's mixed with the emerging strings it's actually perfect
Ducksteina
Stratovarius - Fantasia

I don't like the rest of the song at all, but it's intro is just beautiful!
HDirtwater
Billy Joel - Angry Young Man

Beatles - All you Need is Love

Dave Matthews Band - Seek Up

Yes - Roundabout

Nutteloos
Red Hot Chili Peppers have some great outros, especially on Stadium Arcadium.

Overall, two words: Dream Theater.

One of my favorite intros is in the song 'Ay Candela'

I have heard them from two different artists: Buena Vista Social Club and Ibrahim Ferrer

Te intros are basically the same, but both artists have their way of doing it. The song is an upbeat salsa with nice percussion

Intros:
Biffy Clyro - Living Is A Problem Because Everything Dies
QOTSA - 3's & 7's
Hot Chip - Careful

Outros:
Rammstein - Sonne

Red Hot Chili Peppers - Dani California

Both:
Muse - Knights Of Cydonia

Hysteria by Muse has an amazing intro that I think anyone can recognize from the first three seconds. Their Stockholm Syndrome has a pretty good one, too; but Hysteria takes the cake.
