special power supply...

MarzEz
I recently recieved an old 800mhz IBM or something like that, and it has a slot for a 24 pin power input. Most power supplies have 20 pins, then a seperate 4 pin connection, but this just has them all in the one connection. The two standard plugs won't go side-by-side into the one slot, i've already tried. Anyone else heard of this?

newer PSU will come with 24 pin connector. you can detached the 4 pin for older mobo. the 4 pin is not the same as the 12V connector for CPU.

so you need to buy new PSU.
