Awesome, what's the site? And I'd definitely call that a success.
I really don't know How I get So Many Hits. I Get about 200-300 members a day signing up, I have almost 9k members.
The Main problem to overcome was that my site required registeration so adsense couldn't get relative ads, but abit of php fixed that

Once you have that site 100% successfull, I suggest you make another site and craft a network using the traffic from that site. That should bring in the money.

Wow I have been using Adsense for about 8 months and making like 1-3 dollars a day a sometimes not even that. When I finally reached the 100 Dollar Mark they disabled my account saying that There were alot of Invalid Clicks on it. By the way I went to your site and its down.
I'm going to open my website and put AdSense on it. Can you give me some advice? I've started making some portal about Video Codecs/Video Encoding Techniques and such, but I still haven't promoted it anywhere, duh :].
I'm going to use Google Adsense too. You story is a very successful one. I hope I can be another successful guy. 
My first thought was that you have registered a really difficult domain to remember, what with 2 hyphens and all... I think you should have gotten something shorter and sweeter.
Nevertheless, that adsense stat is impressive. I wonder if you can maintain it.
BTW the site gives a "404 Page Not Found" right now.
