is the hand signal with first and pinky fingers up. Someone clue me in about this, I'm just an old country boy who's been out of the nightclub scene for a while...

The "Hook 'em Horns" can mean a lot. From "I love you" somewhere in the USA to "f*** you" in italy Very Happy But in Music, it's used in Rock, Punk and Metal (some say the "true" sign for metal is made with thumb, first finger and pinky finger, but "True Metal Fans" say a lot) and means - well, in fact, nothing particular. It just a sign everybody uses to express enthusiasm, togetherness and such values.

Well, that makes sense. Used to be the peace sign, candles or Bic lighters, now it's the "Hook 'em Horns" Very Happy Thanks.

Here in Holland we call them 'Devil horns'.

They're just a staple "Rock On" type hand gesture. Old school metal fans will normally opt for the thumb, index and pinkie version (as someone said earlier) I believe it is meant to mean "I love you" from the letters it hardly resembles (ILY)

Just one of those things us crazy kids do to keep us bemused.
