mysql_real_escape_string() help?

heya I have alot of inputs area across alot of pages in my php/mySQL database driven website and I am looking to see if I can just delcare in one statament that all inputs are to use the fuction below in use.

mysql_real_escape_string()

By input do you mean form inputs ?
Then you could use array_map annd apply mysql_real_escape_string to the $_POST array, but I don't recommand it...
