I don't find it Scary, Disturbing, Funny, Hilarious or Normal.
I find it stupid as in idiotic. From what I've understood from that post is that someone's mother is gathering a whole lot of junk. I think that this should be taken to some shrink or something, for me it looks like some mental problem. As for this dude living with that kind of mother, it must be kinda hard

I think I heard about it on Oprah a long time ago, It is very nasty having all of those stuff in your house. If that was my mom keeping all of those stuff I would of been throw away most of the things. I cant work with all those things around my computer like it was in that picture I always have to make sure my desk is clean before I go on do something on the computer.

I watched this documentary quite some long time ago. Well maybe not this particular one but the same case. It was supposedly some kind of obsessive-compulsive disorder like many others have. I kinda forgot the specific term for this but it's just one of the many mental cases that I find normal though.

god I wouldn't want to be around when she dies. who gets stuck cleaning that out? I thought we had it bad when we moved my grandfather out of his house. the basement was filled with bike parts, and there was just random crap EVERYWHERE.
A woman who lived in the neighborhood I grew up in when she died they found out that she had been keeping ALL of her garbage because she didn't like having to pay the garbage man. she had an entire bedroom in her basement completely full from floor to ceiling, and was working on another. everyone going in had to wear dust masks just to manage the smell. They spent a small fortune just getting that house cleaned up enough that they could sell it.

One solution: Fire. Seriously, if I was that kid, I would DEFINITELY not be living with my mom, and also try to get her out for long enough to just have the damn house torn down. That's simply ridiculous.
I could never live like that. I would die. If I was forced to live in a situation like that, I would go buy a tent and live in the backyard. That place is just wrong...

If that was my house, I'd sell everything that was valuable in any way, then 'accidentally' break any sort of gas pipes there are, throw a match into the house, and then go to watch a movie. Maybe a few movies. And come back 'surprised' at the house. 
I did some plumbing work in a flat like that. There was so much dust and stored flammable goods in the bathroom that I didn't dare light my blowtorch until I'd cleaned the room.
Although the pack-rat's house in the article is more than a little extreme it's not all that unusual. I think it's also increasing. After moving the contents of my house into my partner's already overcrowded house we're in a similar position ourselves. LMAO! I think they just moved though. I don't think anyone would be able to move around in a house like that.
That is insane! I thought my dad was bad with some about 10 boxes along the wall of our garage 
Disturbing.. O__O I'm glad my mom loves cleaning. I won't get annoyed anymore when she scolds me. I won't be able to live in a house like that. The mother seriously needs help.
