Help!!! How to use .u8 files?

Hi Friends!!!

I have recently got a file very important for me but it is in .u8 format.
Can you please tell me how to run that file.

Please tell me the procedure or please tell me which software should i use.

No one yet satisfied me by giving useful answer. Everyone tells just that it is a raw audio file and thats all.
I also visited a file extensions site but in no vain.


SO, i am here in front of you and require help.
If you know aven a word about .u8 file format, please tell me. It might be helpful for me.

What OS are you Using? T@b Media converter should be able to open it or at least convert it to another format. Perhaps you should try asking the person you got it from what software they use to open it.

i am using Win XP.

I downloaded an open source directory and the files were in unknown .gz format.
When i extracted the files, i the files were in .u8 format.

SO, please provide me further help.
i think it is something related to XHTML or XML.

.gz I believe is the linux/unix version of .zip

I think that T@b media converter should be able to convert it to .mp3 or something like that. It's freeware and can be downloaded here: http://www.freewarefiles.com/program_6_81_17846.html

But
I still require some help about .u8 files. I dont understand how to use it or the software recommended.
