Transferring your domain is actually possible. These are the generic steps that you should undertake:
1. Buy a new domain.
2. If you're domain registrar would provide with some kind of interface to do administrative/management tasks for your domain, then point your domain to these nameservers:
3. In the DirectAdmin interface, go to Domain Setup under "Your Account".
4. Add your new domain by clicking the "Add Another Domain" link.
The rest are very trivial steps I think.
I hope that this could be of any help to you.
In my case, it's frih.org, so do I use ns1.frih.org or ns1.frih.net?
Let me better explain this,
I have one domain.com, so I want to transfer it to here.
My host is a domain.frih.org, so server 3.
I don't know if I have to put ns1.frih.org because my account is on server 3, or is the ns1.frih.net in all cases.
Thank you for people who helps!
For everyone, you should use the nameservers that are specified on your Account page. It depends on what server/domain you are on.
If you have a subdomain ending with:
frihost.net --> ns1.frihost.net and ns2.frihost.net
frih.net --> ns1.frih.net and ns2.frih.net
frih.org --> ns1.frih.org and ns2.frih.org
frihost.org --> ns1.frihost.org and ns2.frihost.org (no accounts yet at the moment of writing)
