I've been intrigued by the Ancient Mesoamerican cultures as of late and have been particularly inspired to visit Izapa, site of an ancient Mayan ruin. I want to visit the ballcourt and check out the architecture.
It would also be fun to visit the Pyramid of Kukulkan .. on the solstice! Has anyone done anything around ancient Mesoamerican sites?
