Virtual Dub: Help Needed

I have been trying to convert some video files in virtual dub, but again and again it gives the same error, "source image format is not acceptable" i have tried many different video files but it does not help anway. what i did for conversion is a resize filter resizing to 96*96, a compression to Divx6 format with gmobile portable template!

Can someone guide me what this ewrror is all about and how i can get rid of it?

it's because the codec don't support the resolution. you got to resize it to supported resolution. click configure button to see what ratio is supported like 4:3 then adjust the width and height to that ratio.
