Difference between Domain Pointer and Alias Domain??
Domain Pointers are what send visitors from site1.com land at site2.com - using, I believe, 302 redirects.
If you create a domain pointer as an alias, the visitors stay at site1.com, but see the contents of site2.com
Pointer = redirect. (URL in visitor's browser address bar changes from site1.com to site2.com)
Alias = mirror. (URL in visitor's browser address bar stays site1.com)
edit : it's http 302 (temporarily moved) redirect, not 301 as I originally said.
