The site has descriptions of many commercial programs as well as open source software, which is free to download and edit. You can search for programs in different categories or select a program and they will show you open source alternatives.

One of the best clearing houses that I have found is Soundforge.net. This site has links to hundreds of projects.

Great way of organzing things. Lets you easily find an open source tool to do what well-known commerical programs do.

Looks good. I personally use versiontracker and sourceforge. They both have great searches for just about any application you are looking for.

Thanks for the nice link; I found a flash editor to play around with. (Something I've been looking for for a long time, but couldn't find for free)

I've been using osalt and sourceforge.net. But the one I really like is filehippo.com which has majority of OS files hosted on their servers and also they update it unbelievably fast!
