I Just read an interesting article on a 95 year old woman that shattered a new record. Read about it and tell me what you think.

I think she is one courageous woman to go through college at that age.
Usually you goto college to be sure that you can find yourself a job but I guess this woman did it for a different purpose altogether. Kinda cool, but then again kinda weird cuz I don't see the point in graduating college if you can't work anymore but yeah... it's what she wanted right??
I find it kinda cool because you often heard of old peeps becoming senile but I guess this ones brain is still running at full power...
Now das something to talk about...
Hah, I think, she just had nothing to do in 95 and she decided to go to college.
Why people go to the college? They want to receive knowledge and use it in their following life. And what following life can be in 95? She can live 4 years maximum and she will not work anywhere because of age.
I think that woman just wanted to showoff
. OR she wanted to see what college is=)
Yea I think she just wanted to get the experince. But she is way too old to have any fun in college at all no parties, dates, staying up all night, beer, alcohol nothing.
It's kind of strange because she goes to college at that age, I know. But it's also sweet. She probably was bored, many is when their not working, so she maybe started this as a hobby. And when she started she enjoyed it, so she continued
There are people that are young in spite of their age. I guess she is one of them. So, congratulations to her. I think she won with the experience she had but also others (school, teachers, students) won with her presence. I'm happy to know that she is not an old woman that just watches TV or plays cards all day.
Now that is what you call a determined woman. Just because she can't (or simply shouldn't) work any more at that point in her life, it doesn't mean that she can't fulfill what she originally wanted to do and complete what she didn't in her young life. She said herself that her mind really just wanted to learn, so, it's sort of like a hobby for her and I guess it's just all that she wanted to do. It's like you just wanting to travel or something...
It could be as simple as she felt life had no more real challenges for her and she wanted to do something than hang around and knit sweaters (A rotten stereotype I know), and needed something more if her life.
I find the whole thing very impressive, most people that age have essentially given up, the kids are all grown up, there's really no-one around, this woman found a way to fillwhat may have been a void in her life, or fulfill a lifelong dream while she still could.
Anyway you look at it it's very cool and I applaud her courage and determination.

What a women. I can't even imagine someone finishing college at the age over that 40 or 50
Fantastic effort...."more strength to her elbow", as we say here, in my part of the world.
