Proxy Help

WingState
I own a .com domain and hopefully soon will have hosting from FriHost. One of the things I have wanted to do is to create a subdomain that has one of those proxys where you type in a website you wish to be unblocked and then it brings you to the page. Does anyone know any good scripts for this that don't involve downloading anything and putting it on the server, but rather just a index.php or something. I hope that all made sense.

This can be done using phpproxy.

You can find it here : https://sourceforge.net/projects/phpproxy/

Hope this helps.

Thanks

Just so you know, hosting a proxy on Frihost is not allowed!
WingState
Oh really? Why is hosting a web proxy not allowed?

You sound surprised despite it being clearly stated in the TOS
http://www.frihost.com/tos.php
and in Hosting, abuse and useless files

Basically, they use a LOT of server resources.
WingState
Yeah I read the TOS but I always thought there were like a few different meanings for proxys.
