AIM upgrade?

I'm currently using AIM 5.2 with DeadAIM but I've had some problems. I saw version 6.1 online and it looks like it has all the deadaim features. Just wondering, should I upgrade? Anyone else use 6.1? I don't want to switch to GAIM or anything because I tried it before and the AIM support was basically broken.

I personally do not use AIM, however it may be required to upgrade to the latest version in order to use some/many AIM features. So the choice is really up to you. Happy choosing Laughing

Anyway, I still am unsure about maybe switching back, but I'll probably use 6 for now.

AIM support isn't broken on Pidgin (GAIM).

i use miranda at work (portable edition) and pidgin at home... besides, gmail chat now supports logging into AIM so if u just want a very simple, basic chat client, just login thru gmail Smile
