I see many times a expression with the green word for good things.
"The glass is green" in a song of Guns and Roses and Nelly Furtado.
The life is green...
What is the real sense in these expressions?
Tkz...
Do you mean "The grass is green"?
In the US ( maybe other places also) Green is becomming to mean Environmentaly Friendly. Many products at the store are now saying their products are Green meaning that they are good for the environment ( even thought it might actually be a differnet color ). Some hybrid cars are considered Green.
yeah the context u r talking abt is related to green color of plants, grass etc. Its the color of hope for many(farmers), color of joy(for nature admirers), color of life(for those who has been just set free). There is a very pleasing feeling associated with the green color of nature. After a rain, feel the color of trees leaves, the green of growing plants is too much pleasing to eyes, being arnd a place full of greenery gives a feeling of peace of mind, it makes u want to spend all ur life in that environment, it infuses a new life in ur thinking.
green is my favorite colour
"green" is the color of trees, which implies leading the life back to nature.
