Is Water Fuel Cell Technology really true?

Could we produce electrict power from water?

Any experience about that?
Please sharing in this forum.

I'm doubt about it.

Thanks a lot.

Content of the article should not see
Water Fuel Cell Technology at present is difficult to achieve.

Maybe it's possible, i've never heard about it.
But i could be true.

Electrolysis of water costs a lot of energy

If you read the article it says that the whole thing is a fraud, essentially.

The water fuel cell, as described would violate the first law of thermodynamics - which you just can't do. At least, not with out asking nicely first! Wink Basically, if you could do this, then you could make energy out of nothing. Violating the first law of thermodynamics is like having an air conditioner which makes energy by cooling your house (very good for your power bills...)

It doesn't work that way...

I know the current technology goes the other direction--oxygen and hydrogen combine and spit out water. I saw a car that operates on this principle (I still think it's a scary thought to sit on a crapload of compressed hydrogen...). It will always take more energy than we get back to convert water to hydrogen and oxygen.

That would be cool, though.

i've heard one engineer in philiphine already built one car engine that can be run just using water as energy source..but some of big oil companies want this matter to be shutdown..so they paid the goverment to shutdown this project..this because they are afraid that oil bussiness will be goin down if this invention really properly created

Oh well there will probably end up being it..
