Templates are easy to do. How about telling us what kind of template you want. IE. Black. White. Cool. Etc. Without specifying this first, we won't be able to make a good template for you. 
imo those free templates sux.. but this should be posted in the market place tho... can't u draw a picture in paint or something so we get a hint on how u want it?

smartwebby.com offers free templates, there are lots of websites offering free templates, if you want to work it by yourself, you can use XARA webstyler or search the net, of course Google can be a lot helpful.

please please please.. don't use free templates.. how fun is it to have a personal website, a clan website or anything like that.. that's not personal.? thousands of people download those free templates.. try to create something instead..

Just copy a initial template from some and tweak it for your need with the reference from whole bunch of websites...

A person like you must wonder "Did the internet derive from a text-based template created some many years ago?"
A template, as Azmo said, is something that you should design yourself. If it's for a blog, then you especially should design it yourself as it is a form of expression beyond the text of your blog.
I don't see why you'd buy one for 400 Frih$, but that's up to you. If you need, I may do a free one for you (depending how specific you are when you tell me what you want) because I'm currently skill-building/portfolio-building.

ofc it don't mean it's bad or anything.. it's just that it aint personal.. if you make a good template you will have thousand of people downloading it and puting it on their websites.. I dont want a website that looks like so many other people.
