Hey guys, I got bored this afternoon and started to knock up some REALLY cheap bottom line gaming PC's.

The total came out to be around $305 after mail in rebates.

Wow! You do a great job!

Only a question, do you think 80GB is enough for a Gamer's PC? I think 120GB is about the price (maybe a difference of $1 - $5) and you have enough to save enough levels of the games... Wink

Ditch the PC Chips mobo, it is total crap. Other than that, it is decent. I wouldn't expect it to last more than a year though, with such a low-end PSU, mobo, and RAM.

Hey if $200 emachines with 200watt generic PSU's can last 3 years, this thing can too Smile

The RAM's a little light, but hey, you can always upgrade. Very Happy Looks nice

True, but that is if you are lucky... I have heard of emachines dying very quickly. Like months, not years.

But overall, it is good. If you don't mind waiting and rebates, it is quite possible to build a system for about $100 if you wait for offers that are free after MIR. It would take a few months and a lot of work and rebates though Razz
