If I had a blog, it would be the theme that I made.
In my eyes the best theme is the one I made by myself,although it is so simple.

I like my theme the best, and plan to release it to the public sometime soon
It sounds good to develop your own theme, but I have no experience in writing php and css 
Currently, I am using MistyLook, made by Sadish, http://sadish.net/wordpress-themes/ , and made some modifications to suit my needs

But though they are good, the one that we make.. stands superior..
Also, sometime, there would be something missing,
though they are there to help us, we would be clueless in how to fix that..

ya, it is better to develop ourselves so need to learn php from scratch
