Who is really better, a lot of people say batman is better, other say superman, because of his powers which is which seriously?

If batman and superman got into a fight batman would be victorious. Superman fanatics can cry " NO WAY. SUPERMAN WINS" all they want but it is fact that batman will win. WHY???? because batman carries cryptonite on his belt thats why. Only scenario I can think of that would allow Superman to become the winner would be if superman sucker punched batman for no reason without batman having any clue what was about to happen. I'm guessing 1 punch would pretty much kill batman. But if batman knew it was coming then superman would not stand a chance. All batman has to do is pull out the goods and its game over. On a side note. Batman can kick anybodies ass with his brains and ability to buy anything needed to get the job done.

Batman, for each backup plan he has, he has 5 more for each of those backup plans. Batman is also an excellent strategist and bluffer.
That is one flaw of Superman, he knows he is nearly invulnerable so he doesn't have to rely on his brain as much as Batman. Superman is able to dive head first into messes.

Superman's better because he has the courage to fly around in his underwear. ^_^ Jokes aside, I do like Superman better because he was more of a superhero for me...Batman depended mostly on his gadgets but he got pwned by the dude who stops trains and flies faster than a bullet. 
You probably can't compare those two, superman and batman because superman has super powers while batman in only a human being with extra ordinary gadgets that helps him to take down bad guys..but since the only option as to whom is better, I think it's batman because even though he dont have any powers, his ability, speed and intelligence always brought him to victory..

The fact that he is the only 'human' hero among the justice league, and the fact that he could do a lot of things other heroes CAN'T do, makes him one of a kind.

Superman is better, because he simply got the best super powers. Comeon..he reflects bullets, shoots laser, heat vision, x-ray vision etc. His only weak spot is kryptonite, and how easy is it to lay your hands on that?
Batman on the other hand is way cooler than Superman and actually has a disguise (No, putting on glasses doesn't count as a disguise). He has an awesome car, an awesome bout and an awesome aeroplane. He also has one of the most gay partners in history and that makes Batman a clear winner.

Also guys, it's KRYPTONITE, with a K. You know, because he's from the planet Krypton (not Crypton.) Also Batman's kryptonite WAS given to him by Superman, just in case something ever happens to him and he turns against Truth, Justice, yadda yadda...

For me Batman, aside from the Kryptonite he has. Batman is more plausible to the real world as in anyone can put on a costume and have cool gadgets as for Superman will nerver happen.

Batman also has this, "I know what I'm talking about so you better listen to me' attitude, which evokes a lot of confidence and leadership status in the group. I'm not saying he is the leader but he can do anything even on his own. That makes him really great.

I would have to say Batman. I'm not really a comic enthusiast, but from what i know, I've never seen batman having weak spots like superman has with kryptonite.

Batman doesn't even have to draw it out. Unless he keeps it in a lead-lined pouch on his belt, the Kryptonite would effect Supes whether or not he pulled it out. And lets be honest, take away his super strength and flying, and Batman could SO own him in a New York minute.

Superman wins in all categories of strength and power, but Batman's the mastermind behind the Leagues, isn't he? Superman brought them together, but Batman runs the show, with his technology and strategical know-how. They're both great people, but I think Batman is a better all-around hero.

I'm not sure. I say it depends on which one is more quick witted. ^_^ Which ever one is more tactical I think, because they over power eachother in different ablities. For instance;

I'm not a big fan of DC Characters, but in this case, I'd have to say that Superman is definitely better. I don't know why, but his ability to fly and stuff is enough for me to say that he's better. Can Batman fly? NO! But still, its all about Spiderman! Sorry, I'm a Marvel fan.

And ever notice how he keeps ripping off his expensive suits everyday, just to save an ice cream truck on fire? Does anyone know how in the world he can keep affording all these new, expensive suits for him to rip off?

how can you compare one crimefighter that has no special powers with one who's special power makes him completely invincible unless to kryptonite?

If you ask me, they are equal as Superman has the powers which give him a huge advantage but don't forget Batman even though absolutely normal has a very clever and shrewd mind. If both of them ended up fighting I think that eventually Batman will win if he has KRYPTONITE on him.

Compared to Superman, Batman has a HUGE weakness... the fact that he's as fragile as the next human.
i don't want to compare the two. its not fair for both of them since their ability is designed to get alone with the setting and story.

well seriously it is batman, he doesn't have weaknesses like superman does. and batman in strong because he worked at it. not because he is an alien like superman.

Depends if it was a spur of the moment fight Superman would shove the batmobil up batman's ass and then kick them both into up into the air, use his freezing breath and watch them shatter on impact when they reach ground again. On the other hand if Batman has a hour or so to prepare and use his ultra detectiving abilities to track down lex Luther, borrow a nice kryptonite stick and fashion a glowing green Batmarang out of it and shove that into superman's eyeball causing both massive hemorrhaging and power loss.

Personally I prefer Batman.

Batman is SO better than Superman! Batman is a real actual cartoon with a story! Batman has an awesome sidekick Robin, and a real enemy The Joker. I can't even remember any of Superman's enemies.

However, Superman is just an Alien who becomes a hero due to his inherited powers. If Superman were to be in his own planet, chances of he becoming a hero are rare.

To be fair...A lot of Batman's heroic ability was about as earned as his money.
Yes, he's incredibly intelligent and strong, and that's come from hard work. But he'd be nowhere without his gadgets, aka, his wealth.
Now you really want to talk about true heroism, you need to talk about Spiderman...kid is dirt poor, lost his parents, lost his second father figure, worked hard to get himself through college in spite of that, and the whole city absolutely hates him.
He has no reason to keep being a hero but he does it anyway.

Bruce...I mean Batman would easily take superman down. he;s always got a dose for kryptonite the green chronic in his belt. Also in one of the justice league episodes he had a file on all the members on how to take them done, you know just in case he ever needed to. So i think Batman owns, also because of his car xD
