Any french question ??
I was wondering about the conjugation of this phrase, Si'l vous plais. Is it necessary to re-conjugate it for the familiar when you are asking your mother?
Would you say "Si'l tu plais"?
Would you say "Si'l tu plais"?
Hi
No actually you don't need to conjugate because "S'il vous plait" (notice the "t" at the end of "plait") is accorded to "il"
So if you say it to your mom that would be : "S'il te plait" (literqlly "If that pleases you")
hope that clarifies
