Is it my computer - or is the WWW full of squatters ???

and it goes to a squatter page ...
If you go to a proper website, let me know - because that means that my computer is the problem (probably some virus which redirects websites)

I'm posting this because I see several sites like this taken over by similar squatters !!!

Full of ad links !!!!

That site simply *is* a random ad page.

It doesn't have anything to do with Google Adsense. I think there used to be a website on that domain, but the owner failed to pay for his domain, in which case it becomes a page like that until somebody else buys the domain.

I've seen quite a few sites like this.

Link farms ? Squatter farm ? Looks illegal to me but not sure

Sorry - had to snip that link. It was essentially an advertisement (referral) link. You wouldn't want to help out these squatters by getting them more ad-clicks now would you? Wink

It seems to be an abandoned page. Sometime it has an owner, and due to lack of payment, he/she lost the page.

Now is only owned by a registrar: NOKTA INTERNET TECHNOLOGIES.

Maybe to sell it to more $$$ than a normal domain.

So, I don't see the point of discussion, unless you want to buy it or own it Wink

Neither. My point is that there are so many of these sites out there littering the superhighways of Cyberia.

Junk on the information superhighway. Isn't there something we can do to stop this ? Any place to report this ?

I HATE those ---they bought a domain which i wanted.

They are http://domaincargo.com/ , they buy domains and resell them for a lot of money .I wonder how mush clients they have , but they get money from the ads too , so i gues they earn some cash.
