Is the english premiership the strongest league in europe?
With 3 teams in the semi finals of the champions league,is the english premiership now the strongest league in europe? And with even more money coming into the premiership next season from TV revenue, will this domination continue for some time to come, just like the italians dominated in the 90's.
Well.. probably yes.
It's not simple to have 3 teams in the semi final of the Champions League.
So it's probably says something about the league that those teams are in.
So I think that yes, the Premier League is the best league.

The Premiership probably is the strongest league in Europe. But is being a strong league really all that good? OK, so three teams are in the Champions' League semi finals; but in terms of excitement, it's really not all that good.
I mean, look at the Dutch top-flight (Eredivisie): the top three teams are seperated by just two points with three games to go. Six games to go in Germany, where four teams are still in with a realistic chance of claiming the Bundesliga title.
But in England, you know it's going to be Manchester United or Chelsea. And the last two seasons Chelsea have run away with it. Even the relegation battle seems practically done-and-dusted!
Yes there are some strong teams and great players - but overall I would say there are better leagues for entertainment; and that's the purpose of the game!

Since the premiership began, come this time of year its pretty much always been a 2 horse race, usually man utd plus one other (blackburn, arsenal, newcastle, chelsea) so i dont think this year is any different,as for the bottom of the premiership it is far from done and dusted,as charlton have climbed out of the bottom 3 and west ham can still do the same, even the final champions league place is up for grabs.
I think its definitely the best league in Europe. Most leagues send some of their best players to the Premier League mostly because its the best league.
Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester United, and Arsenal are made up of great players.

Yes, definitely. English Premier League is where all the actions taking place. You have many fans from Asia and other continent. Even from Asia we watch English Premier League like Cricket matches involving our countries.
And the proof is again European Championship. Three English Premier League teams are in semi-final. This shows the strength of English Premier League as well. Think about it. There are so many good teams in English Premier League that's the fact.
Good teams that always count are Man United, Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea. This way you can easily count four top European club teams.
In other countries, you can't go beyond a two good teams.
For example, Portugal - Barcelona, Real madrid - only two.
Italy - AC Milan, InterMilan, Valencia*
Germany - Beyarn Munich, Leverkusen... sorry too limited...
