I have always been a fan of AND1 basketball, I love the way they dribble the ball. I've tried to incorporate a lot of streetball moves into my game to make me a better handler. But for AND1, they aren't really doing anything new, so it isn't as great as it used to be. I still love to watch it, just not as much as in the past.

True' I think that you right my man 
And 1 basketball may be entertaining to watch (and yes I've watched it before) but it is NOT real basketball. Anyone that thinks they are actually playing defense in these games probably also thinks professional wrestling is real. I saw one clip where a guy with the ball CRAWLED BETWEEN THE LEGS OF A DEFENDER then got up on the other side of him...kept dribbling and dunked. That is not going to happen if the defender didn't let it happen. That being said some of those guy have real dribbling talent as well as tons of athletic ability. But in real basketball you have to be able to do more than fancy dribble, pass and dunk. You have to be able to shoot when the defense closes down the lane from all those fancy dunks, and you have to be able to play defense and stop some of the best players in the world from scoring. Most of those And 1 guys seem to be more about entertaining the crowd and making THEMSELVES look good.....not traits a coach is going to be looking for when he is drafting or recruiting a player to try and win the next NCAA or NBA championship.

Thanks, I like Tinsley though, I'm a Pacers' fan.And 1 Basketball is way too different from today.. Theres a lot of streetball players and crews that put different style on the game new moves, new tricks and new dunks.. I dont have any news about And1 Mixtape do they continue to release some till now? I want to see the old And1 Mixtape team with Skip to my lou, 50 , Shane d Dribbler, Hot Sauce, Half Man Half Amazing , The Ambassador AO, Professor, the Future , and everyone who became part of the And1 mix tape volume 1-4 i want to watch them all again...
Yeah, its weird how so many people are professional street ballers yet when it comes to nba ballin' they're not as good. My friend told me Skip to my lou went to nba and he's getting ripped. Just shows the different styles of basketball.
Yay! love and1 basketball. My friend told me that there is a video of Rafer Alston, a.k.a Skip 2 My Lou, shooting a buzzer beater from beyond the 3 pointer line in the NBA. Still looking for the video though coz he can't find it anymore. And1 Streetball is the best! Love da tricks.

There are dozens upon dozens of "only decent" players in the NBA based on what seem to be your standards. Most of those "only decent" players played Division I college ball. I fail to see how you could discredit And1 or Alston without discrediting the majority of players in the NBA.
But let's be real, there is no "only decent" in the NBA. There are incredibly good players and there are even better players. You can't walk into an NBA team training session/tryout and just mess around. If you're not good, you don't make it in the NBA and no team is going to think twice about signing/drafting you. Plain and simple.
Regardless, I don't see what could be wrong with what Alston is doing. He starts every game, plays tons of minutes (these two alone prove he's quite a bit better than "only decent"), does exactly what a PG is supposed to do, and plays the role his team needs as well as any other PG in the league. No, he's not flashy, he's not AI or Chris Paul, but he distributes the ball, he handles the ball well/has few turnovers, and hits the open shots. What more could be desired from a PG?

No, he's not getting ripped at all. He has as good or better stats than the majority of PGs in the league. If he's getting ripped, so are a huge number of players in the NBA.
