Knows anybody a great tool to create games?
I've tried ags and Blitz Basic...
Blitz Basic is good, but not so easy. (I've made a 2d Racing Game...)
Or have you hosted or seen a good one ?
haha~ you have put i lot of effort in it, haven't you?
anyway, i will support your effort, please post your game on the forum if you think it is suitable for us to try
I used to use DarkBASIC to make some cool stuff.
I wasn't very good at it though, didn't put all that much time into learning it....
You could use The Game Creator's FPS Creator or whatever it's called, a very easy way to make your own FPS...
It all costs money though....

I am using a very good program called Multimedia Fusion 2. It is alot easier to this that for example visual basics because much of the coding is forset, you puts in the objects, the conditions and the events - no programming. Actually you can download a 30 days trial free at:
www.clickteam.com
If you are interested to see what you can make with this program take a look at my site: www.jawgames.frih.net
RPG Maker is good to make games as the classics of final fantasy.
ive used visual basic and made some simple games like pong
The neatest games are made in flash.
Just google 'flash games' and you'll find tons of examples.
These folks are having a contest for $2,000 for DIY flash games.

You can check out Game Maker: http://www.gamemaker.nl/
Check out these examples: http://www.gamemaker.nl/games_exe.html
I like GameMaker quite a bit, but it can make only fairly simple games. (I'm sorry if I'm wrong, I'm not very good at it.)
It's good for beginners, you can or cannot use code, its your choice, and it's FREE.
gosh
you can make your own levels in "lode runner" which is really fun!!!!

Yes I think it is a great program too. I never really used it, but I looked at the possabilities ones and they are great. I learned about gamemaker from a young boy who can't program at all, but could create nice little programs (not only games) with gamemaker just my clicking and stuff. It is also nice it createds standalone executables very easy.
I am not sure what it is called but Microsoft has a program that you can make games with. The games if good enough can get published on the 360 arcade. How cool would that be to have millions of people download and play your game!?!!?
You can always make your own text-based game! They're simple to create, you just have to have the creativity to pull them off... oh, and wicked linguistic skills.
PennMush is one you could use, then you just have to build and go!

Cool, I started programming with Blitz Basic myself. If you want to really program games ( coding ) it is a lot of work, probably c++ would be best for that, there are a lot of tutorials for it out there.
If you don't wanna code it all, GameMaker seems to be popular, I've never used it myself though.
I just found this language called phrogram. It was developed with kids in mind. I have seen a number of games that were made with this language. I have not used it yet but will let you know what I think as I learn it. I plan to use it in class too.

I have not used it. I will let you know after I have used it. Let me know if any of you out there have used it. I am going to see if my students like it.
I used Game Maker once..... only spent less then a hour messing around with it and then I got bored. I did have fun playing that stupid little clown game though. lol
It does seem to have pretty good possibilites though for being free.
