hehe, another trance topic! we should make a "Frih Trance Lovers" Club or something!
ok seriously... i LOVE trance aswell. especially the older stuff (1998 - 2002). trance after that got a bit to slow for my taste. too much techy grooves and lack of energy if you ask me. there are still bright exceptions of course, my favourite being Selu Vibra - Divine from last year. i'm talking about mainstream trance here of course.
there are too many trance subgenres to discuss them tho my favourite one is of course hardtrance, lately especially the one from UK.

I really like the EBM and that's not so far away from trance, there was a website who showed the links between different music styles and there were not too many steps from one to another.
