Internet in New Zealand

By any chance are there some Kiwis out there who know about high speed internet in NZ? Ive been living in the US for a while now and have gotten used to fast cheap internet access at home. My understanding that DSL is still pretty hard to come by in NZ and costs an arm and a leg. And even then it is limited to monthly usage loads.
Im heading home next week for good and want to still be connected to the world.

So... having arrived home it would appear, for anyone who is interested, that NZ internet is the most expensive in the western world. And thats a quote from the news. $40 a month for DSL with a 200MB cap. That is bloody rediculous in my books thats for sure.
