As many of you know: workplaces, schools, etc... sometimes have firewalls which keep you from browsing sites you like.
This is why proxies are there for (mostly).
Sometimes those firewalls even block the proxies, but they can't block every single one.
In google type:
Then skip to page 7 lets say.
Look for a pure link which will end in something like this:
/phproxy/index.php or just /phproxy/ then click on it.
Type the blocked website inside the bar in there and click "Go".
It might work slower, however it will work.
It can have issues with flash games.
Enjoy.
nice tip
might take a while finding one that works though...assuming your IT admin at work is much of a hardass as mine is

Using
will be very usefull too.
(But you will often have to clean up the found url)
Well, finding proxy sites is not much of a problem these days, with so many of them floating around. There are some points of difference though.
PHP Proxy : - This type of proxy uses more bandwidth and takes in less of server resources. Most of the sites are accessible with this and many of the flash games too. They also have the option of supporting SSL which is decided upon by the webmaster.
Example :- http://www.proxicuted.com ( This proxy is owned by me and has SSL support too. and oh! I am not advertising
)
CGI Proxy : - These proxies are more dependent on server resources and use very little bandwith. They have known issues with SSL support. The amount of sites accessible with these and the PHP proxies are almost the same.
Example :- http://www.cgiproxy.co.uk/ ( Not owned by me, neither of a friend. Again not advertising
)
So choose what you want. And oh! Beware of the Dark Side.
Thanx and Regards,
~KMKM
Just look at webmaster forums where people make proxy websites, and use those. It will take a while until those are banned. Or better yet, make your own proxy.
